Don't Be Cruel...
The boys and I attended our first baseball game of the season tonight. Cousar and I went to a few games last season but this was Barrett's first baseball game. The theme of the evening was Elvis...
If you look closely you can see Barrett is wearing his baseball helmet backwards...Very rarely does he wear with the bill in the front...
Some baseball players prefer sunflower seeds, others chewing tobacco...not this player - he prefers his "pa pa" for an oral fix during the game...
I feel sure Cousar was asking me lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots of questions about the game or asking me who we were beating - the tigers or the bulldogs...

She Said Yes...
Kate and Cousar were engaged over Easter weekend...Notice the huge rock on her left hand? She said "yes!" The date is tentatively set for November 2032...go ahead and mark your calendars...(He found the ring in an Easter egg and really did say "Will you marry me?"...with some coaching from his Mommy...)

With the longer days the boys have found a new love...BASEBALL! We have to sing "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" everyday now...Cousar prefers hitting without the T and Barrett is quickly developing into a left-handed closer...

Cousar's favorite part of the beach...
Cousar's favorite part of the beach...feeding the birds!!! He insisted on having popcorn or bread every time his feet hit the sand! He was not sure about them at first but by the time we left he would have fed them out of his hands if they had let him! Barrett was not a fan and neither was I...
Cousar's loyal followers waiting on their leader to bring the day's meal...

Destin...
We are in Destin this week...giving all of us a chance to relax (except Sweets and Pops) and giving me a chance to update the blog. It's not warm enough to put on swim suits (*thank goodness) but it's still about 20 - 30 degrees warmer than Oxford right now...We are heading home Wendesday with the boys and Linley Kate...we are a little stressed about the trek home and I think they are too...
