Cousar & Kates's 3rd Birthday Party...The Details...

My faithful blog readers (all 3 of you) know how obsessed I am with planning birthday parties for the boys...This year was no different. Tracie and I combined Cousar and Kate's party. (Kate is 11 days older.) The theme was Ole Miss Football...and while it looks a little over the top nearly everything you will see in the pictures was stolen (from Homecoming floats being thrown away) or borrowed...Below are all of the details...

What is a football game without the smell of popcorn? (Popcorn popper and hot dog machine both borrowed)...
Sherri painted our concession stand signs...they made the concession stand!!! On the menu for the party - popcorn, hotdogs and chips, M & Ms and of course birthday cake...
O
The miniature football field was "stolen" from the Homecoming Parade. At the end of the parade route the University administration places a dumpster for all of the parade floats to be dismantled prior to returning to campus...We racked up!!!
Ole Miss sign also stolen at the end of the parade...
The party favors...the football hanging above them was our door hanger at home for football season...
The big football field...also stolen from the parade. We just added duct tapes to mark the yard lines...and Jeremy built the goal post from pvc being thrown away at the end of the parade...
Walk of Champions off of the Theta float in the parade...
Miniature footballs...2 for $1.00 at Dollar Tree and also given as party favors...
The art project...decorate cheer megaphones with markers and stickers...
The marching band section...drums, cymbals, xylophone, recorders...
The cake from Emileigh's...they called Tracie one week before the party to tell her the cake was ready...luckily it was the bakery's mistake and not ours...We are pretty confident they froze the cake though and gave it to us a week later...
The coloring sheets included in the party favors...
